Jim Kerins is a Managing Consultant for CMS, specializing in Human Resources Management. Jim has more than 22 years of Human Resource Management experience. In addition to his consulting experience, he has served as the Personnel Officer for the Montana Department of Livestock and as a Personnel Specialist for Montana's Department of Administration, State Human Resource Division, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana. In each of these roles, he has been instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive human resources management systems, including compensation and job analysis, salary surveys, recruitment and selection, competency-based pay systems, and other professional services. He has extensive experience in implementing performance review systems, establishing formal pay ranges, facilitating recruitment and hiring processes, and providing consultancy to executives and supervisors. Jim has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Carroll College, is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
