Drew Geiger is a managing consultant for CMS specializing in human resource management and governmental affairs, with a focus on local and state government. He has more than twenty years experience in working with private and public sector organizations including providing specialized human resource consulting services at the Yarger group. A former policy analyst with the National Conference of State Legislatures, his focus is on the interface between private organizations and governmental units. He also has a specialized knowledge of local governments from a national prospective. "When you spend a lot of time riding in patrol cars with sheriff's deputies, or seeing what it takes to staff a municipal public health facility or planning office, you get first-hand experience of how local governments really are where policy meets the public, our team is forever cognizant of the relationship between state and federal policy on the one hand, and the people who implement and are impacted by these directives at the State and local level," Geiger said. He is formally the Communications Director for the Montana Department of Commerce; and former lead staff to the Economic Affairs Committee. Mr. Geiger has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Akron in Ohio.
